Anyone else using COMBO: RF 24-105/2.8 + RF 100-300/2.8 ? Also RF 600/4 = just old tech, what's next in "new" versions?

Part A:
So, anyone else have this combo and loving it like I am? The range covered while not compromising aperture vs physical space is wonderful IMO. I just got the RF 100-300 and have had the 24-105/2.8 Z for a bit and love the internal zoom.

(internal vs not = Totally another topic for debate which I am not at all interested in having LOL)

Add tele ext and you have a killer two lens backpacking set up for low light and landscapes to birds even. Although in my experience 600 will be a bit wide for small birds most of the time but backpacking for days isn't usually a "birding" tour either. One could step it up and also carry a 3rd lens into the 800's range. I'd want to carry a Nikon Z8 and the 600mm/4 TC LOL.

Part B: I didn't really think about it with the Z 70-200/2.8 or the 24-105/2.8 Z both being internal, both having the "control ring" so both being the "new style" of canon lens design. But the RF 600/4 has neither while the RF 100-300/2.8 has these "new" design features.

It made me immediately wonder, "oh, will all the next super tele have the "new" design approach?" So, if/when there is something cool like a RF 200-500/4 ...WITH a built in 1.4x !!!, will it of course have the control ring design?

I have a Nikkor Z 600/4 TC and love the built in 1.4x - as well as where it's located. With one finger, without moving from my eye, I can easily switch between 600/840. Whereas on the EF 200-400/4 1.4x that I also have, it's kind of a ridiculous switch lever placement, but I do still love using the lens.

Love the 24-105/2.8 + 100-300/2.8 combo for indoor events, and I bring the 1.4x TC for outdoor events.

The 100-300 is the first real RF-designed great white. The 400/600/800/1200 are basically the EF 400/600 MkIII with an adapter bolted on and an integrated 2x TC for the longer two lenses. I think it’s a given that and newer RF great whites will have the control ring. I wonder if they’ll lack the drop-in filter like the 100-300 (though that does take a front filter).

I think we will see a 200-500/4 at some point in the next 2 years and RF Mk2 supertele primes around 2028 (a decade after the EF Mk3s). Those will likely have integrated TCs while keeping the weight the same.
Really excited for RF superteles with integrated converters. Looks like Sony is releasing theirs this year.

I've also been waiting for the "zoom" TC that was rumored a while back.

I don't see how it would be accepted to not have a drop in for lenses that have a large front end like the 400/2.8 and 600 f4. Both the Nikkor have the drop in. Luckily I have at least 2 lenses that use 112mm thread so I get a little more value out of having a B+W CPL and UV in that size.
