Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III

I debated getting this lens b/c I had the version II plus the 11-24 and 24-70 2.8II. Carried it on a long business/vacation around Europe and have been very impressed with the IQ. On the 5DSR, it is easy to create architectural pics w/o putting on the 24TS by simply cropping the lower half of the image. This makes handheld HDR panos possible, even in a crowded place where a tripod and fiddling with the TS just would not work. I will post a few examples. (I haven't de-ghosted all of these yet.) 1st pic is from a tripod at dawn, second at midday by hand.

Another example of a HDR snapshot with the 16-35 III and the 5DSR cropping the foreground to avoid tilting the Cathedral. 100% section to show detail.
