Easiest way to view exif (date taken) on a mac?

*EDIT*

Looks like "Inspector" in "Preview" shows the correct date, can anyone confirm this, please?

Hi!

First off, I export everything from Lightroom, and keep them in separate folders, not using Lr for organizing for a lot of reasons.

But I want to see when a picture was taken on a Mac, using "Get Info" only shows when the file was created, exported from Lr. I know I can use an Exif-view app, but that means I have to open the shot in a different software, and it would take way to much time when I need to go through lots of shots and sort them by date.

Is there a very quick (mouseover type) way to view the actual date of picture in Finder or something else that's fast?

Thanks!

Yes, that’s correct.

Thanks!

Btw, I set my my Wacom up, with the express keys, to open Preview and then in Preview I sat the same button to open Inspector, that way I can choose a picture, press the button my Wacom twice and I can see the true date. Worked like a charm.
