I just got back from a trip to the East coast for an extended wander, weather was damn near perfect for 9 days. For the first time I flew into Boston which is a bit unique, you see water under the plane until almost touchdown. Very weird experience and I enjoy flying. I saw a pier which I took note of to double back and see what it looked like from the land view. Also pretty interesting. Not much done to the images other then resizing. Mostly just wanted to share the optics of the planes coming into the runway.

Landing at SFO is similar, usual path is over the San Francisco Bay. At least I've never had the plane struck by lightning landing in Boston, that's happened twice for me flying into SFO.

The 'egg carton' in the first image is the Deer Island sewage treatment plant in the Boston Harbor.
