They are not even full sized medium format and they are claiming large format now?
(Yes, I do know they would be considered large format for video but this is a hybrid camera)

Medium is the new large. The GFX100S III will have a venti format sensor.

Honestly, that is extremely tempting to me. It looks like they announced a 500mm prime as well, which (lack of bigger reach) has been probably my biggest hesitation to considering the GFX system.

I am between this and the new R5 II . I will probably go to the R5 because of the features and because i will be able to use my EF lenses with it, but the GFX 100S II looks like a camera with an incredible image quality.

Unfortunately it falls short in AF and the lenses are so expensive.
