So last week we experienced the strongest geomagnetic storm in decades. Possibly the strongest is a century (but that will take a while to ascertain). Aurora was seen over a huge portion of the planet, as far south as Hawaii in the northern hemisphere and as far north as Townsville (camera only) in the southern hemisphere. Here is Tasmania (42deg south) we experienced corona with The Aurora extending north of our location. Truly an astonishing show.
