Sigma 20/1.4

20/1.4 is my preference for astrophotography. Since it appears Sigma will not be allowed to produce a 20/1.4 for the RF mount, I am considering purchasing a Sigma BF and Sigma 20/1.4, specifically for astrophotography.

Does anyone have experience with Sigma cameras used for astrophotography?

No, but you could get a Sony E or an L mount camera. The Sigma BF is more of a lifestyle camera product, At least it seems to me.

Canon has a new RF 20mm 1.4 too. Perhaps that would be of interest?

I found the Canon RF 20/1.4L to be excellent for astrophotography. It’s more expensive than the Sigma, but I doubt it’s more expensive than Sigma the lens plus a camera to use it with.

Thank you. I was concerned that in-camera corrections would blur the edges and corners, and there would be noticeable coma.
