The rumors look to be true, Fuji will introduced a fixed lens rangefinder style GFX camera with a 100MP “medium format” sensor in the first quarter of 2025. The camera will reportedly sport a 35mm f/4 lens (28mm f/3.2 DOF equivalent). There will be no IBIS in the camera, but that probably won't matter much

Interesting move.
I don't like the lens and Fujifilm's color science. I'd rather buy a Leica Q3, with 60MPX along with its well renowned 28mm f/1.7 than a 100MPX with a slow lens attached.

The R8 + 28/2.8 makes a nice P&S for me. As a bonus, I can put the RF 24-240mm that I am about to order just ordered on it, and it makes a nice bridge camera.

Given the success of Fuji\'s X100 series (relative to their market share I guess), it makes sense for them to try such experiment.
And people who dismiss it should give a try to MF first (although this is a \"small MF\" or \"crop MF\" offering like all Fuji G line)
