Didn't make to Brookings on our last trip. Need to start looking for some place, we are planing Brookings for 2025. Is Secret Beach a steep climb down and up?

The trail is not very steep, but you do have to climb down a rock at the bottom for about 15 ft, but even if you just go to the bottom of the trail it is worth the trip. This is the view from there.

I've been looking for a lighter camera system, my R5 with lens is on the heavy side.M6 II, BTW. Easier to carry than the R5.

The R10 with the 18-150 is a nice light walk around combo. The above shots were with the EF-M 18-150 and the RF-s 18-150 is essentially the same lens, so not to be sneezed at. I have a full set of EF-M lenses, so am keeping the M6 II until the RF-s line matures and that will likely be a while, but the AF on the R10 is in a whole different league. I do have an R7 that I use primarily with the RF 200-800, and it is much more capable than the M6 II both in AF and Video, but also quite a bit bigger. IQ is similar, but the R7 has EFCS, which the M6 II mysteriously does not, so far fewer issues with shutter shock using the R7,I've been looking for a lighter camera system, my R5 with lens is on the heavy side.
