I must be the oddbird here, but I'm most interested in the new rf-s 10-18mm, the other two are out of my (justified) price range right now. 200-800 is still something to look after, and might be added to my collection some day.

Now I have to wait the reviews of the wonderfully compact, light and small rf-s 10-18mm. And I think it is really going to be very satisfying lens for me. Must be as good as ef-m 11-22, or better, right? And with a hood!! Wow!

The prices are quite moderate (for Canon ).
For both FF zooms, I would have expected several hundred more.

I too am interested in picking up the 10-18mm. I shoot with an R5 and don’t own anything wider than 24mm. There has been an occasion or two where wider than 24mm would’ve been nice to have but I can’t bring myself to spend over a thousand dollars on a large zoom lens I’m going to use so infrequently. I’ll happy throw that small of a lens in my bag and accept crop mode for the rare occasion I want an UWA.

RF 10-20, 24-105 and 100-500 might make another ultimate trinity kit.

24-105 range is very usable in landscape photography too, but heavy vignetting at 24mm is a bit worrying. Looks like at 24mm and f2.8 it won't be a good option for astroscapes. And regardless of the genre, vignette correction means more noise in the corners.

There has been an occasion or two where wider than 24mm would’ve been nice to have but I can’t bring myself to spend over a thousand dollars on a large zoom lens I’m going to use so infrequently. I’ll happy throw that small of a lens in my bag and accept crop mode for the rare occasion I want an UWA.

You can also get the prime RF 16mm f2.8 - it'll have the same FoV as RF-S at 10mm but without cropping., so you get the full frame. It's also pretty small.

That was my original plan but lately I’ve been using the crop mode for 4K video so this lens would be useful for that as opposed to the 16mm which just turns into a 25.6mm equivalent as opposed to this lens which would be a 16-25.6mm equivalent zoom.

The 200-800mm weighs 4.5 lb / 2 kg and so it weighs less than Sonys 200-600mm. I was hoping for less than 2kg, but it will not matter anyway. I am going to preorder this lens.

10-18 is ok for its price, not just for RF-S cameras but can be extremely decent for full-frame cameras using it for video. Apply strong digital IS with IBIS is viable.

The early comments on DPR are remarkably good - must still be bedtime for most of their trolls. 3 very impressive looking lenses - although as always the detailed reviews will tell the real story.

Most Anti-Canon people is on YouTube. I see a few saying 35-150 is cheaper+better, digital correction is a sin for the 24-105LZ, f number is too small on RF200-800.

What prices are you referring to?
AFAIK the $1,899.00 are ex. VAT.
And every country has its own tax system.
Germany has 19% VAT, that's it.
Therefore, German price ex. VAT would be 2.100 €.
To the US price (1.900$ = 1.800€, roughly) that leaves 300€.
And yes, European prices are higher than US.
Ask the British... they would be happy with German prices.

Why not just get the RF 16 f/2.8 or RF 15-30?
Unless you mean the RF 10-20 L.

I calculated the VAT for Texas and the final price is 2.055 $. So with current exchange it 1.939 € in Texas.

I was thinking 100-300 f/2.8 but that is an entirely different price range.
