Nice shots of a Kestrel. As well as the colours of the plumage, the characteristic hover shown in the gif is the give away. What's that bird? Sparrowhawk?

Streaked brown head, bared tail... And fortunately the dark talons are visible on your shots. Female Common Kestrel.Very nice series, Nemorino. I especially like the first shot.
Thank you, Click!I can't help you identify it, but I really like this shot. Nicely done, danfaz.

Great shot Craig. As an aside, I wouldn't pick a fight with anyone who can shoot BIF with an EF 800 hand held.View attachment 210816
I was going through some BIF photos for prints and forgot that I had this one. I'm not a birder in the slightest, but these guys are one of my favourites.

Impressive shots! Since I don’t see Snowy Owls at my house, do you rent out your attic?View attachment 210823
Here's another one that made the cut for today's fun printing session.
Snowy Owl - My House
EF 800mm hand held.
I don't live in that house anymore, but I'll see if the new owners will make it work!Impressive shots! Since I don’t see Snowy Owls at my house, do you rent out your attic?
Wise thinking. Us humans have a tendency to trample the parts of nature that interest us.I don't live in that house anymore, but I'll see if the new owners will make it work!
The same snowy came every winter for 5-6 years. My neighbours did a great job of not blasting its location over the internet. All I had to do was show them some pictures of photographers in the Ottawa area and the havoc they created with Snowys. It was always chilling on my property, but I would let our neighbours come and watch and photograph it as long as there wasn't 50 cars on the side of the road because someone let the world know.
Great shot of great bird!View attachment 210876
This is my favourite bird.. They aren't pretty, but it's like one of those species that evolution seems to have forgotten about. Its movements and behaviours reminds of the Pterosaurs in Jurassic Park (Not claiming that to be scientifically accurate).
