BIRD IN FLIGHT ONLY -- share your BIF photos here

Since Alan encourage me - two more: note the white tail feathers! Only the central two are elongated into long red streamers! On the last photo from my previous post the bird has only one streamer - they are molting like any other feathers, new one will grow there to make them two!
And I included the second photo not only because of the white tail and the red streamers: you can see the "great Bokeh:ROFLMAO: " the 500mm PF can produce in some circumstances...

@ Parker River National Wildlife Refuge in Newburyport MA last weekend. I've seen this before, but we found some seagulls working the marshes to find mussels, then dropping the mussels from a height to crack them open for lunch.

A mussel pulled from the marsh.

Carry the mussel up.

I like to wonder how many eons this ritual has been taking place.

Red-tailed Hawk. Unfortunately, didn't get any good backgrounds, but it was cool was how the R5 was tracking the bird even when it was flying behind the branches. There's more to the sequence, where the bird is even more covered by branches, but it's still in focus.
