BIRD IN FLIGHT ONLY -- share your BIF photos here

Here they are everywhere and become "just another mallard" Also a lot of people are not fans of mallards because they will breed with anything.

Exactly!!! They (despite rarely coming on Hawaii) already messed-up the very similar Hawaiian Duck! Now if you want to see real Hawaiian Duck - go to Kauai only and I wish you luck!

Great shots, Mallards don't get enough credit.
My preferred bird for Thanksgiving is a Duck (for years already!)! By far more tasty than the "classical"! More expensive but you have only once/year a Thanks - giving! So, from me they are getting (the domesticated form!!!) a lot of credit!!! But only for that occasion;)

I read in different threads about zoom vs. prime for birding. To take this picture, I had to zoom out fast to keep the heron in the frame. Couldn't run that fast if I would had a prime.:ROFLMAO:

The obvious answer is to train harder. Try doing fast laps and some intervening spurts.
