Here are two images of the same scene; one is shot on the Canon G1Xiii and converted to B&W using the Kodak Tri X profile in Silver Efex (along with some of my tweaks). The other is really shot on Kodak Tri X film.

Shots are wide aperture (f/1.8-f/2.8), high ISO (3200-6400), long exposures (1/2 second, hand held), as the IR pass filter in the camera picks up light at about 18 stops darker than the regular photo would be.

I am no dedicated landscape photographer, but sometimes I love doing it. This one shows a flooded landscape close to the Rhine river in Germany, end of January 2018. Shot with a New Mamiya 6 + 50mm wide angle lens of this system on Ilford HP 5, f =22, tripod.View attachment 214892

The second image is taken with the G1Xiii, and you are right, it is sharper even though I ran a very subtle blur over it to help with a genuine film look.
