Butterflies, Moths and Assorted Insects...

Here I am on a birding holiday, just one bird so far but here are the third and fourth butterflies. The R7+RF100-400mm is so convenient for these shots. Speckled Wood and Silver Fritillary.

Marbled-White butterflies and Brown Silver-line Moth. (R5/RF100-400mm). The moth is tiny and usually visible at night. I must have disturbed it while walking along. The Butterfly in Flight flew in to disturb the resting one.

First time that I came across a lesser purple emperor (apatura ilia).
It's German name is "Kleiner Schillerfalter", translated "lesser shimmer butterfly".
The last picture shows, why.
It is listed in the Red List BAY as "V, potentially threatened".
