Butterflies, Moths and Assorted Insects...

Another new one for me, Jersey Tiger Moth outside by back door this morning (R5/100-500mm).
I knew those from Rhodes Island, Greek. There is a butterfly valley where those gather during the hot summer.
There they prefer the name "Spanish flag". In Germany, it is also called "Russian bear".
I found them in our Franconian forests, too. (Posts later)
Here is one from the window glass at my holiday hotel at Rhodes. Gives a good view from below ;)
And shows, that the windows need cleaning :ROFLMAO:

Really nice photo of a slug.
Personally I would have preferred to see it in this forum

As it is definitely no insect ;)
I wondered what to do with this handsome slug I took in Seattle a couple of days ago. A real monster, about 8-10cm long. He's crawling to the Slug thread, slowly.
