Groundhog Day.

It feels like Canon Germany has promotions 360 days a year and their discounts are already baked into the list price.

Two regular promotions (Summer, Winter), both about 2,5 months long.
A lot of time in between those.

Like any other brand in the world as well. Nothing is for free, only death.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Like any other consumer can do.
At least we have the freedom of choice and the choice, not to buy.
Others don't.

Sure, but we just finished one of the in-between promotions that ran until October 31th 2024 and a day later we have the next "sale" of the year.

Nobody can take those promotions seriously anymore.

I don't like that model but your milage may vary, especially when it is as predictable as this. I don't buy anything during those two promotions. I get better deals throughout the year.

I went well with that throughout the last few years.
But I must admit, that it is fascinating, how prices go up before or at the beginning of those promotions.
So you'll have to wait some time until they get lower again.
And especially the Winter promo combined with black, cyber, and whatever other general promos deliver the lowers prices.
