Does The Canon RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM Have A Design Weakness?

Do you have a backpack in which that beast of lens fits? I guess Lowe's Lens Trekker III would swallow it... or do you use it only in a car or tear it behind you on a trolley?

My 800 lives on a tripod. I got it for the hummingbirds, but now that I have the RF 200-800 that works so well hand held (and focuses considerably closer), the EF800 is relegated mostly to astro.

Here is one of Jupiter on a close flyby last year. EF 800 with EF 1.4x III and R7. Single shot with selective brightening to bring the moons into view.
