These are Banded Damselflies, a female and a male, taken this week along a very clean river! (R7 + RF 100-400mm).

Very nice shots. I really like the "metallic colours".

Just the right angle to get that wonderful cobalt blue.

Question is for how long…
as both, digestive and sexual organs are in the abdomen.

Looks like a beak was snapping after it.

Can’t wait to get to my ponds soon.
But right now I’m on holiday at Kos Island, taking different pictures.
But I also found two dragons near the beach.

The fact that the Banded can live in dirtier habitats doesn't exclude it's present in pristine habitats.
Let's put it simpler: The Banded can live in any habitat. The Beautiful needs clean habitats. Nice photos anyway!
