The only photos from today (no birds:()!
First one is a male Orthemis ferruginea, after that few females. Last two are Crocothemis servilia - female.
Strong, contrast light. I used it for some little bit more interesting photos (?).

Hey, come on ;) Dragons are great, too :p

I think, you did very well.
Bottom-up of the first is a nice perspective.
Hide and seek of the second, too.
and the black bg is also great, esp. at the last one!

The next time with no birds, do in flight, too. ;)

As good as they come!
As always - sometimes good sometimes so so (or even worst!)... And to satisfy Maximilian's thirst for DIF - few more old photos.
I'm taking photos of DIF when in proper mood and it never happens at the temperature as it was yesterday! I was all sweat...
Cant wait for the winter (aka rainy season...): they say it will come here late this year (December) but is going to go into April and with higher than average amount of rain. It means cooler temperatures and more photos of Dragons. I really hope the meteorologists are right!

Great shots, ISv. WOW the last one is amazing. Well done, Sir!
Thanks a bunch Click!
From the series of the last one I'm sure I posted one before. These are the last seconds of that par: they did pass too close to a duck (sorry Maximilian, that's the life!!!). The noise was like someone stepped on dry leafs:LOL:... The action was fast (unfortunately faster than the AF of my camera - fraction of the second!). Not sure it was the karma for both of them or just for one! I never ever did think the ducks can be so fast!!!
Here is another par at much more happy circumstances!
