Dragonflies and Damselflies

I hereby solemnly declare the 2024 Franconian dragonfly and damselfly season open.
As usual, the common winter damselfly (sympecma fusca) was first.
But I never caught one earlier than by mid or end of March. March, 3rd is really early.
This one was sitting quite far away in a willow bush over the water.
I would have needed Fishing trousers to get closer.
But I could walk around the bush to get it both, in bright sun and backlit.
This is a crop to 1800x1200. Usual equipment:
R6m2 @500mm, f/16, 1/500 and 1/640, ISO500 and 2500

Here now the first "good" 2024 photo of a winter damselfly.
Close enough for 100-500L MFD, and sharp from tip to toe, IMO. :)
R6m2, @500mm, f/16, 1/640, ISO640, cropped to 3000x2000, downscaled to1500x1000
