Is There a Pair of New f/1.2L Lenses on the Horizon?

Since trade shows usually take place in large venues, they could even reel it in on a wagon specifically designed for this purpose. I´m thinking: old red wagon with cameras on each side, individual motors for each wheel and and classic blue wagon attached to it carrying the RF mount barrel and the attached camera :)

Something like this?

IF the 35mm F1.2 comes out, I'll rent just because of you! Your longing for this lens has made me incredibly curious :)
Have you tried the RF 50 or 85 1.2? Their quality is the main driver for me being so obsessive/obnoxious about the missing 35 1.2 :)

And obviously I am simply always right, so there's that :ROFLMAO:

I think there are many more important lenses that need to come out before new versions of the already good 50mm or 85mm 1.2.

Mainly all of the first generation STM lenses with loud and clunky focus motors. Better construction, better focus motors, weather sealing and I'll gladly pay ~1k for 35/50/85 USM versions. Or let 3rd parties fill that gap already.

And a 600mm 6.3 zoom lens that doesn't snap in the middle would be nice.

I have tried the RF 50mm F1.2 in real-world situations, the RF 85mm F1.2 only in a store. The rendering of the 50mm F1.2 is amazing :) beautiful lens!

I´m really curious how it'll look on the 35mm and how it compares to the 35mm F1.8 (of course, it'll be better... but how much?). With the 35mm F1.8 the the out-of focus background blur for portrait shots (or environmental portrait) is not as intensive, so I am really curious what the F1.2 will bring to the table.

No arguments from me there (y)

... and how it would compare with the 1.4...
I hope for a optically corrected lens with a similar character as the other 2 1.2's

Screw updated lenses... I want to see a 14mm f1.2, with actually good coma correction and minimal vignetting.
Manual focus would be fine, EF or RF mount is fine. Dew heater and focus lock. Tripod mount, weather resistant and reasonably priced...
wait! Am I talking about the Sigma 14/1.4?!?

It almost certainly will need a tripod foot for how big it'd likely be, lol, just judging by the Sigma. I honestly would be fine with MF only, with a PHYSICAL focus lock that doesn't reset when the camera is powered off, since it'd be a purely landscape/astro lens for me, but I highly doubt Canon would put out a MF only lens.

Honestly if they do release a fast ultrawide astro lens like rumored, I'll be shocked. I won't be shocked when it costs your firstborn though, sadly.

A 35/1.2 would be nice. Even Nikon has one now. It’s hard to imagine the Rf 85/1.2 being any better with a revision.

The Rf 50/1.2 could do with better colour fringing control when wide open on speculative highlights.
