This is an odd little frog. I'm not sure if they were parasites or natural but it had blue looking crystals on parts of it's body.

I wouldn't advise trying but it could be some fantastic experience for people who lick the blue crystals or kill you...

On the way to my usual frog and dragonfly spot I noticed a frog sitting in de middle of the bicycle path:

Sunda gharial (tomistoma schlegelii) at "Gondwanaland", Leipzig Zoological Garden.
No crop, 2 m away, Fortunately, a pane of bulletproof glass between us.
They have a veeery long snout. Don't ask me what aperture I would have needed

I very nearly stepped on this extra-large nope rope in Utah today. Looked about 2" in diameter and 3-4' long.

While looking around for dragonflies, tiny frogs kept jumping out from where I was walking, about the size of a fingertip:

Back home I noticed that one of them still had a tail!

After some googling I found out that those tiny frogs are still classified as tadpoles while they haven’t absorbed their tail yet.
