Show your Bird Portraits

Watching the White Terns: Started relatively early with the same result (baby is shy!). Later on I decided to go to the Zoo to chase the Dragons. When I came back to home - no parent, baby was kind of exposed!!!
If you think this little jerk was collaborating - nope! Shortly after the first series of shots (and it looked at +/-me!) it turned it's already famous back to me... The difference was that this time I had a room to go on the opposite site - just to see that attitude "I'm not going to look at you -never!).

Today it was only the "Cheerleader with pom-poms" (Common waxbill), Yellow-faced Canary and a House Finch with strange bill (no idea if it happen during the development or was broken later).

Hello everyone. I have been a reader of the forum for about six years now, having started a few months after I got my first DLSR, the Canon EOS 750D (a.k.a. T6i and X8i). I decided to join the forum, mostly to be able to view the beautiful pictures in threads like this one. Currently, I still use the 750D as my main camera, although I have owned and used the 6D and 5D III as well.
I mostly shoot cities, landscapes and astro, with bird and animal photography being some of my favorite genres, too.

Here is the first picture I would like to share with the forum. It was taken using the 5D III and the EF 70-300mm IS USM (non-L, Mark I).
