My favorite is the last one (Downy woodpecker - female) - real hero: recently I did knock my head on a branch when hiking... can't imaging I have to do it for living - dead on the first - second day

On Easter Sunday, the last of the trio was still in the tree tossing out some attitude. Sadly I missed its swimming practice later the same morning.

R5 MK II RF600 w/1.4X 1/160 : f/9 : ISO 1000

After being rescued from the lake, the next morning it was in the grass and eventually made it into a small tree on an island(more flapping/swimming). Still around weeks later, the lone survivor.

A victory dip and flap after chasing off another male venturing too close to the hen and seven ducklings.

And one of the seven Wood Duck ducklings.

And one of the young Osprey a couple of days before its first full flight.
