Montevettolini is a charming medieval village in the hills of the Tuscan city of Pistoia, where I have been staying with friends. It also hosted a few birds: Starlings flying back with insects in their beaks for their chicks, Jackdaws on ancient roofs, Barn Swallows, and as a quiz how many Pigeons on the old clock. R7 + RF 100-400mm.

Did you get the acute warbler neck syndrome (torticollis setophaga acuta)? It is a very serious condition, the best cure is a tripod with remote control

Don't you think the owl would have taken flight if you had had a clear view - because of your face?I wanted a cleaner shot but I am way too pretty to risk an owl attack to my face .

You have a valid point. I was trying to think fast.Don't you think the owl would have taken flight if you had had a clear view - because of your face?
