Wow, I had a cataract operation yesterday afternoon on my left eye. This morning, the bird is now a vivid azure to my left eye, and rather muted and dull to my right (and both yesterday). Flicking through my images, I can see how bright the colours have been that I have been missing.A couple of kingfishers:
