These are just to prove I really went to search for the Cocos Booby... Relatively calm ocean and as a result the birds were again more distant than I would like...
I was shooting at every brown looking Booby but they were all immature Red-footed. The ID of the last one was written on it () - wish it was the same with some birds

And some small birds from different location. Adult and after that a very juvenile Chestnut Munia (Lonchura atricapila). I'm really happy with the juvenile - hard to get it exposed on a branch. They use to hide in deep shadows and dense vegetation. After that a Japanese White-eye on very colorful background and a Common Waxbill.

Wow, I had a cataract operation yesterday afternoon on my left eye. This morning, the bird is now a vivid azure to my left eye, and rather muted and dull to my right (and both yesterday). Flicking through my images, I can see how bright the colours have been that I have been missing.
