So when are we gonna get a price reduction on the R5M2 in Europe?

Still selling for launch price here in Norway which is 58984 NOK (5587 USD). Would be easier to stomach a purchase if we at least could get a $300 price reduction like in the US.
Funnily the kit lens combo is an even worse deal, retailing at 75388 NOK (7141 USD) compared to 5099 USD (53828 NOK) in the US. You will save a total of 585 NOK (55 USD) if you purchase the bundle provided you want that lens.. just a lousy 3.5% reduction of the retail price of the lens.
Furthermore the US got a price reduction before we even had any availability to talk about here.

l always look to the grey market. perhaps a little frowned upon, and perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, but you’ll get the discounts you want. Take a look at e-infinity or panamoz. Research a bit to understand any risks over buying through official channels.

even for the grey market prices of around 3500€ the R5M2 is not worth the money. i've never seen any noise-free RAW images coming out straight from this camera no matter at what ISO they were shot and this even at best light conditions. even the roundabout 1000€ cheaper Nikon Z8 has better RAW image quality straight out of camera.

What have you been smoking to claim R5ii being too "noisy"

then explain why our Nikon Z8 does not have these serious issues. we have returned our R5ii and got the new Sony A1 II in addition to the Z8 and this is a complete other level of image quality. so time to take off your canon fanboy glasses and recognize that canon failed hard with the R5ii.

Well, yes. Testing the RAW files clearly shows the R5II has more noise and thus less dynamic range.

Oh, wait. It’s the opposite. It seems you know your ABCs but not much else.

Troll on, mate.
