Streaming Directly to Social Media

Hi,

Not sure if this was asked before, but I think its not possible with Canon cameras, I want a camera that can video stream to social media, Facebook, Youtube and the like without complex setups, the users are entry level and are used to do this with phones, but need a more permanent setup and higher quality.

So doing a quick research, I see the Mevo Core, and its made for this, and even multi cam support, there are some reports of frustration with the software, which seems to carry a heavy load with all the features they provide, so is there a Canon camera that can do this, stream directly to social media, or at least using a phone without wires and adapters?

I also saw the Blackmagic Micro Studio which is similarly priced, but it does seem to be targeting more complex setups and studios.

Lumix has the box camera and other cameras with live streaming builtin, but are way more expensive.

Does anyone have experience with this?

The R5II and R1 can directly stream to youtube, but you have initiate it from the camera connect app on your phone. It's limited to 1080p: https://cam.start.canon/en/C017/manual/html/UG-06_Network_0110.html

I briefly tried it and it works. I just don't have anything interesting enough to publicly stream

Thanks, yeah it seem to be a new feature, hope they bring it to the R3.

Still these are out of budget.

Thanks, I used that since it came out, this requires a laptop to be connected to with USB, its good for work meetings and the like, maybe doing live stream from PC, maybe, I need something that could be used wirelessly without an expert setting beside it, I remember facing many issues using it.
