Dragonflies and Damselflies

The damselfly larvae in my mini pond have started crawling out!

I find it amazing how they go from nearly transparent to fully coloured. Watching the wings unfold is mesmerizing as well.

R5II+RF100L and the later in the session an EL-5. 1800 shots in 2 hours, took a while to sort through edit!

And this damselfly didn’t get snatched by a sparrow a meter into its first flight, yay!

The Canon PowerShot G Series May Live On

I don't care if they call it Mark or just Powershot G1.

But please Canon, please for the love of God:
- a fast lens (what we had in the G1X Mark II or G7X III).
- useable zoom range (what we had in the G1X Mark II or G5X II)
- newer 4/3 sensor with dualpixel AF

And then you'd have a camera that would sell like hotcakes even if it costs $1499.

Way Too Soon: A Canon EOS R5 Mark III Wishlist

As in you use LR to manually go through and view each image to decide whether or not to cull? Or as in letting LR automatically "decide" which ones are "bad"? Does LR even have that functionality? There are several apps that do. I haven't used LR in years.
I have used an addon a couple of times, but was not overly happy with the results. I generally do it manually and only remove out-of-focus shots, then sort by event. With the R1, I have very few that are not in focus or otherwise bad.

Will We Finally See Third-Party Autofocus for Full-Frame RF?

Those old conspiracy theories are, frankly, garbage.
So is this new one by @mimbu and the fact that he cannot produce any evidence to back up his claim is telling. But some people like to attach their tinfoil hats to their heads with cyanoacrylates.

Next you'll tell me that Microsoft didn't intentionally break compatibility of Lotus 1-2-3 to push Excel.
They may or may not but I will and since I was at Microsoft at the time I can state absolutely that not only did Microsoft not break compatibility of 1-2-3 but they bent over backwards to make sure 1-2-3 ran and ran cleanly even to the point of detecting the version being run and enabling emulation of old OS bugs that Lotus expected on those versions.

Those old conspiracy theories are, frankly, garbage.
