Reptiles and Amphibians

Nothing new: reptiles on Hawaii are that small number... The few more that exist here are pretty rare or show up when the light is miserable to ~not existing...

Last year, I did my regular TBE vaccination. (highly recommended in Germany, when you go hiking)
This sand lizzard should remind you to check yours - at least when you live in southern Germany.
I counted no less than eight ticks. And that's just its left side. :eek:

Probably the most interesting photos after I (finally!) discovered the Napoleon Hat Tree in Botanical garden that I use to frequent...
First photo is Phelsuma laticauda, after that Green Anole. When I did see it first it was like "Oh, the Dart Vader is coming...":). Note the difference of the color: it's the same individual! I knew they are able to change colors but this was little bit to much (for me...)!
