A Kestrel suddenly flew directly at me and I had a quick reflex shot that worked. R5+100-500mm. Nice bunch of photographers in the hide with me. One next to me with a Sony A1 and 200-600mm, another with a Nikon 400/2.8, one with a Nikon D7500 and 500/5.6, one with an R7+100-500 and my wife with the R7+RF100-400mm. We all said nice things about the others gear! I think I was the only one to get the Kestrel. It's a rare shot of one. They are usually got hovering but they then look down and usually with the sun behind them. This one is looking straight forward into the sun.
