But right now I see "The quickest way to make money at photography is to sell your camera." ! Well, it's even faster if you start with the lenses!
On the other hand if you once get in this trap - there is hardly way back! I mean photography (at least for the enthusiasts!) should be treated as a fentanyl and company...

For amateurs to talk about making any size of fortune (by photography!) is just laughable! Especially for the amateurs that are going after really high quality of photos (and you, Alan, you are in that basket!).
On other hand I honestly(!!) think I will feel myself something between 7-10 years older (if not more!) without photography! It gives me motions, emotions (sometimes not very positive but still welcome...) and escape from the daily usual!
Highly recommended hobby! (I hope I don't sound as a stupid influencer : I really think it!)!
