I caught a Skylark in full flight, shooting across and landing (200-800 at 637mm).

Today it was a day to "shoot" fisherman. For a wile I hesitated to post everything in the "Portraits"...
First an adult Black-crowned Night Heron, after that an immature that nearly crashed on me! Obviously you should not afraid if you are not a fish!

Every once in a while I will delve into the archives to see if any of my older bird portraits could benefit from more modern processing. This one didn't need a thing.

I had some fun capturing some small birds in flight having failed to see a Bittern or Kingfisher on a trip. R5ii set at 600mm, 30fps, 13200s and f/9. Goldfinch, Great Tit and Blue Tit.

Really lovely, esp. the goldfinch.
