BIRD IN FLIGHT ONLY -- share your BIF photos here

Today it was the day for Red-tailed Tropic bird... In two occasions I got something different (for sure not what I would prefer:)): last two photos - White Tern and something that looks like Navy Seals in training:unsure:.

Beautiful pictures, ISv.

The helicopter flies without the main and tail rotors turning. It's more stealth. :ROFLMAO:
After I saw this and was out birding, an air ambulance flew by. So, I reduced shutter speed to 1/250s to get a bit of movement in the rotors. I better add a bird as well6L8A2040-DxO_Helicopter.jpg6L8A2206-DxO_Grey_Heron_flying.jpg.

Few more from Saturday. I actually spent there ~3h on the cliff and took ~1,800 photos. I promise these to be the last to post from that day :)!
First two are from different bursts: courtship "dance". First the bird is taking up and flying backwards (in this case very fast because of the strong wind) and later diving also fast. Note the tail - it's a part of the posture! After that a bird approaching it's nest (I'm sure there was a nest just few meters below me), the last photo from ~13 meters and 100% crop! In generally I was looking for the other two species - The Red-billed and the White-tailed but didn't see any of them. The other target was the big black silhouette of the Great Frigate bird! Instead I got a chopper !
