BIRD IN FLIGHT ONLY -- share your BIF photos here

I hope it survived ;)!
Of course, it did ;)
I didn't see anything in the beak. So I suppose the bird didn't get anything that time.
But it was really fascinating to watch this hunt so close to the beach.
I was only expecting to get some "normal" BIF.
The forth is the best as a photo but third and fifth are the best to describe the action!
If I had to do this to keep myself alive I would be dead after the first attempt...
That's why I kept and posted the whole sequence.

A yellow-legged gull (larus michahellis) tries to have a nap, is disturbed by a snorkelling tourist and can only escape.
(oh, how I hate those red and yellow buoys)

I just picked up an R5 and am playing around with its faster than my 5DMIV fps and focus abilities. This is my first attempt at hummingbird photos, and wow! The improvement is amazing. While I expected this, it is a joy to use.0T7A0930 Small.jpeg
