New Canon PowerShot V1 Information & Roundup

I wouldn’t characterize a camera line that was the best-selling globally as a failure by any definition. At one point, 17% of all interchangeable-lens cameras sold in the world were EOS M-series. After launching APS-C R-series bodies, Canon made the strategic decision to phase out the M-series while it was still a best-selling line. Given the success of the R50 and other crop R bodies, they seem to have managed the transition effectively.
We still need an R100 that will fit in a pocket, though. ;)

I swear this site becomes more of a joke by the day. Canon can't even figure out what they want to do with their APS-C line and yet Canon rumors expects their new compact to have Canon log 3?. Even for a videocentric camera (which this appears to be) the listed rumored specs, while impressive if true, seem highly implausible. Like I always say, take ANYTHING coming out of Canon rumors with a LARGE grain of salt and be aware of online grifting...
Well, congrats on your first post making you look like a LARGE joke.

From Canon:
In addition to realizing 4K crop/60P video recording, it supports "Canon Log 3", allowing recording with rich 10-bit gradation and excellent color reproduction.

We’ll be sure to take EVERYTHING you say with a LARGE grain of salt. I’d welcome you to the forum again, but despite your heroically-inspired handle you’ll probably slink off with your tail between your legs like a little b…errr, female dog.
