Show your Bird Portraits

Part 2:
Common Myna: I was sitting on a bench and this one did pop up right in front of me (Too close!). I knew it was going to jump down! No way for me to go back. At least I succeeded to push the AF-On (customized for "Group AF"). The bill is touching the real end of the frame, no mistake in the cropping.

Wandering Tattler - we did play (with changed by me rules ;)) "Who will blink first". With changing the rules off course I won: poor bird didn't know my "mirror slapper" is blinking 10 times per second! After that it started looking elsewhere...

A few shots from North Florida while cleaning up the damage from two hurricanes.

A Yellow-throated Warbler came down from the tree tops to take a bath.

The males are bright but I prefer the more subtle coloration of the female Northern Cardinal.

Another juvenile Ovenbird decided to stop skulking and come out in the open for a moment.

Great shot but I thought males have blue on wings.
Males have a grey head and grey tail with a black band at the end. This picture shows the underside of a male's tail feathers hovering in the light of sunrise (5D Mk IV with EF 600mm II + 1.4 extender):

and yes, I know this is Show your Birds Portraits and not Birds in flight

Spotted this guy while taking my dog out a couple mornings ago.

I believe I have established that my hawk identification skills are still in development. I am thinking this is an immature red tailed hawk. But feel free to correct me. If it helps:
