Did you get the acute warbler neck syndrome (torticollis setophaga acuta)? It is a very serious condition, the best cure is a tripod with remote control ;)
Wonderful photos, this spring is totally out od sync here in St. Lawrence River Valley...
He is safe: there are no Setophaga warblers in Europe (including Italy...)... Some false symptoms of torticollis (incl. Acquired) are still possible :)!

Our local house martins move into their new artificial nests, which were put up for them by the environmental protection organization BUND.
The increasing drought and soil sealing are making it more and more difficult for them to find clay to build their nests.

Technically, I was absolutely positively surprised that I could get 4 decent sharp shots out of about 70, because I was working with 1120 mm and 1/80 to 1/125 s.
