A round-eared elephant shrew (macroscelides proboscideus) from our local zoo.
Difficult because of low light and flickering fluorescent tubes (I forgot to turn the anti flicker on).

A River Otter in the pond right next to our house in Texas--this was the first one I had ever seen in our pond. Unfortunately, the ISO was 12800 in the top photo & 8000 in the bottom one. It all happened so fast.....then it was gone.
