I hope you don't mind me saying, but this is an absolutely superb photo, yet it feels like it needs some more editing to bring out the tamarin. A bit more exposure just on its face might help. If you're getting noise when doing that, try Denoise in Lightroom or Topaz Photo AI.Cotton Top Tamarin

You are correct on all accounts. I am traveling and had limited resources for editing (old laptop, minimum editing software) but loved the image and wanted to post it. When I return home I will update the image with improved range.
If it fits in the frame....Not really sure if this fits into the small mammals category but what the heck.
Heavy crop, I could not get it close enough to me and I had the RF24-240 on the R6 MkII, the 400mm was back at the hotel.

What I know is that Nikon had just few white lenses and they were discontinued time ago (in order to preserve the photogs behind them from bird's, monkey's and eventually human poops...)...Nikon after the birds in flight got it
