I like the shadow in the first one!
Sandwich tern emerging from the waves and flying away with a fish. R5 Mk II with EF 600mm II.
About 20 years ago, I spent 5 hours tying to get one single picture of the tiny flying rockets, with a manual fast-focusing lens. Not one single shot was in focus, and about 98% of the pictures were wonderful bokeh-ish birdless backgrounds. I guess my "success" with AF would have been comparable. Background blurring can work very well. And, I see no difference doing this digitally than old-fashioned analogue by using wider aperture. Hirudine shooting is an Olympic sport!
I agree!I really like the third shot Noreaster, it is a cool shot.
My next "fix" will be a good printer.I agree!
But right now I see "The quickest way to make money at photography is to sell your camera."! Well, it's even faster if you start with the lenses
!
On the other hand if you once get in this trap - there is hardly way back! I mean photography (at least for the enthusiasts!) should be treated as a fentanyl and company...
