Snapped this cardinal as he was taking off to grab some bird seen in the snow. Love all the snow between me and him, combined with the direction of the sunlight, giving this a dreamy look.

R1, RF 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L @ 500mm, f/7.1, 1/2000s, ISO 1600.

The opposite in size and speed of the Greylag - a Skylark in full flight (not hovering). I had set the RF 200-800 to 600mm on the R5ii, and it picked out from the background.
