I get neck pain from watchingI had the R7 for a week last year and had fun with it. This is with the RF 100-500mm.
And you guys are not alone: it took me some time to figure out what that bird is doing+1
Very nice shot, Levina.
Thanks very much, Maximillian.I get neck pain from watching
Great shot! Love the circle of drops coming from the beak.
Kudos, Levina
Thanks, Click.+1
Very nice shot, Levina.
He had come up from the water of the canal below and was shaking himself as he flew up. That’s a houseboat behind him. I stood higher than him so was shooting down some, hence the somewhat unusual angle. And you guys are not alone: it took me some time to figure out what that bird is doing. The trajectory of the bird is confusing! I would expect something like that if the bird is ascending from the water... Interesting photo anyway!
Thanks for explaining. As the others said, it's a great photoThanks very much, Maximillian.

I don't think it's silly. It's special because it's uncommon to seeHere’s another gull shaking himself, also shortly after leaving the waters of the canal. Taken with the R6 and the RF 100-500mm lens. It’s probably silly but I think they’re cute shots.View attachment 212491

Very nice shot Alan!Just reworked this shot I took in Borneo of a Crested Serpent Eagle having caught a serpent. 5DIV + EF 400mm f/4 DO II. I found that combination excellent for BIF, acquiring focus really fast. I had just a couple of seconds for the shot.
