Butterflies, Moths and Assorted Insects...

Time for a few insects different from butterflies/moths and I'm almost done with the photos from my trip :oops:. I will ask my daughter for some of her photos with the macro lens and if/when she collaborate I may post some of them too...

These insects are fascinating, and it's the close-ups that get us into seeing them properly. Thanks for posting.

Something I have never seen before. I took some shots of a tiny Holly Blue Butterfly in my garden, and on downloading saw it was laying eggs. (R7 + 100-500mm).

The Fiery Skipper (Hylephila phyleus) - female. One day we may start taking good photos of them in fly... With better AF and some luck as usually?
