A combination of both would be nice...I agree with you, I also need a money-multiplier.
Or else. Or else, what? Exactly. So canon better not mess this up.
The R5 on the Canon UK website is £3,800. On Panamoz, £2240. Canon Deutschland has it at €3599, equivalent to £3040. My trusty old R5 is still working perfectly and it isn't the limiting factor on what I do.I've decided to buy my next lenses, maybe even cameras, from Panamoz.
They have not only very good prices (for most, not all items), but also a solid 3 year warranty and reputation. Fully taxed as well. (No customs cheating!).
The only drawback is that products don't enjoy Canon's official warranty. Which, in more than 10 years, I've never needed.
And their prices are less interesting for newly introduced products.
If you don't own an R5 or R3 so far, you surely can wait a bit longer. If the r5 mk2 cant do 8k 60p then i will wait to see what the Sony a1 mk2 has to offer. The next generation of camera system i choose to go with is riding on that. Thats coming from a 1dx, 1dx mk2 and 5dsr owner. So canon better not mess this up.
What's generational difference be like? Can you elaborate?
It works! Thank you!I gotchu fam:

If applied correctly, this liquid time accelerator will make you skip entire days with no memory of them whatsoever. Enjoy responsibly![]()
Here’s to hoping it will be smarter camera generation as well!
DJI smartphone integration feels like EV vs 20 year old car when compared to Canon.
Bigger, much better rear screen!
Much longer battery life and more cycles.
Better charging from any odd USB-C source - not fun to have to use a 20W PD charger all the time and cannot - use a small power bank. maybe even usb-c on battery itself - there are aftermarket ones.
Bluetooth link with phone to get GPS on images.
Apple find my integration - 20$ license cost on a 4K device is nothing.
List of smart features goes on… canon will likely give us … none.
I’ll buy it for the dynamic range, fast sync speed and silent shutter. Anything else is likely a non-upgrade (compared to EOS R vs R5 esp)
Love it when people talk trash about stuff, they cannot even try for themselves, because it isn't on the market yet.So again, not a revolutionary camera from Canon… it get’s boring. 4 years since the R5 and what did Canon improve (photo wise) in the mark II? NOTHING!
Autofocus true the viewfinder, wow! Great, a feature that R3 users shut off because it sucks. Great work!
I know experiences vary according to your iris color and whether you wear thick glasses, etc... but I have a pair of R3s and it is the only way I select AF points on those cameras now.So again, not a revolutionary camera from Canon… it get’s boring. 4 years since the R5 and what did Canon improve (photo wise) in the mark II? And, even if nothing else changes (to please the already hateful little trolls), THE reason for me to buy the R5 II.I know experiences vary according to your iris color and whether you wear thick glasses, etc... but I have a pair of R3s and it is the only way I select AF points on those cameras now.
Just adding this feature alone and keeping everything else the same makes the R5 Mark II a will-buy for me. The stacked sensor and faster fps, etc stuff are bonuses to me.
Can't say I have any complaints about RF lenses getting dirty or easily scratched. The lens hoods are scratch magnets, it feels like one wrong look at them and they get scratched. But lenses are holding up fine. Didn't have any paint issues either, which is to be expected, as many parts of RF lenses aren't actually painted but rather plastic and colored throughout the material. The paint chips around the mount on EF lenses were always ugly. Unfortunately inevitable.
I haven't had any issues with my RF lenses though I am careful of them.
I am guessing that you are referring to the RF white lenses.... If they are working okay, why would you replace them? For the big whites, there are camo kits. I haven't seen any for RF70-200 though but haven't looked a lot.

Trolls will be trolls. Apparently, their debilitating myopia prevents them from realizing how foolish they look to everyone else. What in your brain comes to a forum and says things that are so ridiculously uninformed? Go to the YouTube comment section... It's the place for people like you.
