I want to amend this slightly, shooting portrait the eye tracking is still wonky it seems but I did not refine it any. I’ll have to play with it more.

Canon EOS R5 Mark II deliveries have already started

Is there anyone from Switzerland who has already received their R5 Mark II? I've preordered mine on July 17 while the Canon live stream was still going on but have not received mine yet unfortunately. The camera store told me that they are eagerly awaiting the delivery and that they think it must have been stuck at customs. I don't really believe that story though. I think they gave the initial batch to their long term customers and I will have to wait for the second batch to arrive sometime in September. First time buyer at that camera store and for sure I won't order from them anymore.

after a little more time with the R5M2 I have to definitely modify my statement about the eye control. It is really bad when I have my glasses on. I am unsure if it is the lens coating causing it but my prescription is very light. When shooting in portrait it is very bad, it does not track my eye very well and jumps around erratically.
