Dragonflies and Damselflies

We were ob a beach in Tuscany recently and there were so many dragonflies there. I took a lot of photos, but kept only one. I wasn't satiesfied with the others. Mostly too small. But still here is my first dragonfly.

Very good shot with great colours and sharp details ! Now you have broken the ice, take more.

The forward position of the wings with the closest not blocking the dragonfly's head is very nice!

This from today - darn hot and light wind on that place. We (I was with my daughter - she wants more photos of insects :rolleyes:) spent about 40 min there and retreat: cameras and lenses where getting so hot (forget about us...)! Even the dragons were flying rarely and lazy and no surprise: only scarce of food flying occasionally around.
