Phew! I'll take "boxy" all day long over "crappy".
Mine do, after I've filled them with everything I want in them...Most boxes don't have humps...
I´d like to know how that wentWe did have some fun with the cinderblock RF 28-70 f/2L USM mounted to it.

These current set of crop bodies are certainly useful but they are definitely not awesome. I actually despise them...lazy designs, cheap buttons, and just chunky funky.
An m62 in a smallrig cage just wipes the floor with the r10/50 designs. And feels more modern to boot.
I did a overview of them at B&h the other day. No thanks. And none of them can to fit in my smallest camera bag for M50+ 22 f2. Just design fails all around. Too chunky.
For me, it depends on the lens. I have no problem holding my M6II with an EF-M lens on it, but my R8 with something like the RF 100-500 is unwieldy. That's why I use an integrated-grip body as my primary camera.I find the larger cameras easier to hold, my 90D feels easier hold for me then my old smaller and lighter 700D.
Yes.Would something comparable to the Sony FX30 be too much to hope for?
